About MoonSense
MoonSense is a beautiful, offline-first app for tracking your spending and splitting bills with friends and groups. We built it to make everyday money feel calm, clear, and a little bit delightful.
Why we built it
Money apps tend to be either powerful and ugly, or pretty and shallow. We wanted one that is genuinely nice to use every day and still does the hard parts right, like splitting a bill fairly to the last cent and working even when you have no signal.
What MoonSense does
- Log expenses and income in seconds, sorted into categories automatically.
- Split bills with friends and groups, with the math done to the cent.
- See where your money goes with a spending heatmap, budgets, and a monthly review.
- Work fully offline. Your data syncs automatically when you are back online.
What we believe
- Offline-first. The app is yours and keeps working without internet.
- Private by default. We do not sell your data, and you can delete your account anytime.
- Fair to the cent. Shared expenses always add up exactly.
