Who can use MoonSense

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use MoonSense. By using it you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

• Use MoonSense only for lawful personal finance and expense sharing.
• Do not misuse, disrupt, or try to gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
• Only add other people's details, such as a name or email, when you have a reason to.

Your content

You own the data you enter. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, and sync your content so the app can work and so it can be shared with the friends and groups you choose.

Expense splitting and financial disclaimer

• MoonSense is a tracking and calculation tool. It does not move money and is not a bank, payment processor, or financial advisor.
• Balances and splits are calculated to help you, but you are responsible for checking amounts and for settling with other people outside the app.
• Nothing in MoonSense is financial, tax, or legal advice.

Subscriptions and payments

• Some features may require a paid subscription. Pricing and what is included are shown in the app before you buy.
• Purchases are processed and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their terms. We do not receive your full payment details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled by the relevant app store under its policy.

Third-party services

MoonSense relies on third-party services such as cloud hosting, authentication, push delivery, and speech and AI processing. Your use of the app is also subject to those providers' terms where they apply.

Availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may limit or suspend the service for maintenance or other reasons. We try to keep MoonSense available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free.

Termination

You can stop using MoonSense and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm others or us.

Disclaimer of warranties

MoonSense is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. We do not warrant that the app will be accurate, reliable, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoonSense is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or money arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, give notice in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
